Meet Jenny...

I have been with International Needs for a long time now; since 1975. At the beginning when our team was very small, my responsibilities were very broad, but I am now the Finance Administrator.

My role is to look after the money! I make sure that all donations that come into the office are allocated to the correct projects and get sent to the relevant places. I claim as much as I can from HMRC through Gift Aid, pay the bills (including staff salaries so they have to be nice to me!) and anything else that comes my way.

Passions

What I find most rewarding about working for International Needs is being able to see the impact that our work in the UK has in so many different situations; transforming lives, communities, families etc.

I have been able to visit a number of our projects overseas which were incredible. One of my most amazing trips was being able to visit the children that Andrew (my husband) and I sponsor in Savar Village in Bangladesh. It was a very emotional and impacting experience being able to visit the very children that we had been supporting and having correspondance with.

I enjoy walking, scuba diving and travelling, as well as just having the time to chill out.
