Lord Green of Hurstpierpoint was appointed Minister of State for Trade and Investment on 11 January 2011
He took up his appointment after a 28-year career with HSBC which culminated in his appointment as Group Chairman of HSBC Holdings in 2006.
He has been Chairman of the British Bankers' Association and Chairman of the Prime Minister's Business Council for Britain. He has also served as a trustee of The British Museum and an honorary trustee of Peking University.
He is an ordained priest in the Church of England. Lord Green is married with two children.
Lord Green joined International Needs' trustee board back in 1997, and served as Chairman to the board for 11 years before stepping down due to other commitments in 2008. We are delighted and honoured that Lord Green remains as Patron to International Needs.
