I have been involved with International Needs for over 20 years, 15 of them as a trustee, and have now crossed the floor and joined the full time staff.
As Development Director I am looking to forge new and refresh existing partnerships - especially between Christians and churches - to develop our global mission to bring hope and a future to some of the poorest people in the world.
My Passions ...
... are many faceted!
I believe the mission of the church is for the whole church to bring the whole gospel to the whole world. I believe we are all called to care for our world and do whatever we can to sustainably overcome extreme poverty, inequality of opportunity and oppression. I simply want to help mobilise us - those of us who are in a privileged position - to change the outlook for those who cannot yet do that themselves.
I also support Brentford FC which is also a labour of love for the disadvantaged.
I am of course passionate about my family - with five children (and one wife) how could I be anything but?
Before joining IN full time I was in pastoral ministry for 18 years and prior to that worked at London School of Theology. I have three theology degrees so I guess I may also be passionate about study! I continue to be an accredited Baptist Minister.
