'Steps for Street Kids' was such a success in 2011 that we are repeating it this year. The walk will take in the London bridges and all are welcome to join us.
Join us at 10am on Saturday 22 September 2012 for our London Bridges Walk to raise funds for the Street Kids of Kenya.
Enjoy a day to remember walking approximately seven miles across London, Southwark, Millennium, Blackfriars, Jubilee, Waterloo and Westminster Bridges. The tourist inside you will enjoy seeing some of London's iconic landmarks, such as St Paul's Cathedral, the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament.
The cost of taking part is just £15. This includes a 'Steps for Street Kids' T shirt and route map, a certificate congratulating you on your achievement and a goody bag with sports drink and energy bar at the end of the walk.
We don’t ask for a minimum fundraising amount, we just ask you to raise as much money as you can. Remember that every little counts and will make a difference. Theentry fee is not a donation to the work of International Needs, but covers the cost of the event, meaning that the sponsorship money that you raise can go directly to help
the street kids in Nairobi.
Click here for a leaflet with all the information about the walk. Find out about the route, how to go about raising money, how to take part if you are not very fit and how your sponsorship money will be used. The leaflet includes an application form.
